Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B have been challenged to a bout in the wrestling ring by WWE Women’s Champion, Liv Morgan.
Speaking to Billboard, Morgan and her tag team partner Raquel Rodriguez laid down the gauntlet to the two female Hip Hop stars, saying: “I would love to see Cardi and Meg The Stallion. I think Meg would be incredible.
“They’ve also been so active with us on Twitter and just responded to different things. Those two would be interesting to see in the ring. Us versus Cardi and Meg. Make it happen.”
In a new interview with the same publication, Morgan doubled down on her challenge, commenting: “That offer still stands for them if they want a shot at our newly-crowned championships. I’d love to beat them in my hometown.”
Cardi and Megan have yet to respond to the challenge but they would not be the first female MC’s to set foot in a WWE ring.
Lifelong wrestling fan Sexyy Red appeared on WWE’s NXT earlier this year and got physical with female wrestlers Tatum Paxley and Michin.
She made another appearance later in the show, twerking for NXT Champion Trick Williams and Je’von Evans before escorting the duo to the ring for their match against tag team Gallus, which she helped them win.
Sexyy also gushed over meeting WWE legend Shawn Michaels, posting a video of them embracing backstage while another clip shows the two of them singing Michaels’ theme song.
The “SkeeYee” star appeared to thoroughly enjoy her time on the show as she posted on X afterwards: “I had so much fun yall!!!”
Shawn Michaels recently offered Drake and Kendrick Lamar the chance to settle their feud in the ring after his finishing move “Sweet Chin Music” was referenced on K. Dot’s “Not Like Us.”
“A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way,” he wrote on X earlier this month. “@kendricklamar, you and @Drake are formally invited to #WWENXT to settle this thing. I’m even offering my services to mediate.”
Female WWE superstar Jade Cargill also recently listed some of the leading ladies in Hip Hop she would like to see in wrestling.
