Emily in Paris star Lucien Laviscount says playing James Bond ‘would be the ultimate’.

Lucien Laviscount, known for his role as Alfie in “Emily in Paris,” has expressed his desire to tackle action-packed roles, including that of James Bond, following Daniel Craig’s departure from the iconic spy role. Speculation has been running high with names like Cillian Murphy, Idris Elba, Regé-Jean Page, and Taron Egerton swirling around as potential successors.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is widely regarded as the frontrunner and has been given the role; yet, the 33-year-old has been extremely discreet in interviews when asked about it, implying that nothing has been confirmed.

Lucien told Us Weekly: “I think, at some point, to play James Bond would be the ultimate. I’d love to dive into more action roles. We shot a movie last year that was one fight sequence after another, with explosions going off left and right. I absolutely loved it.”

Regardless of whether he gets the Bond part, Lucien seems keen to establish himself as a Hollywood action star. He previously acted in the sci-fi drama “Last Sentinel” last year and is due to star in the upcoming action thriller “Copperhead.” Fans will also be excited to discover that he will reprise his role as Alfie in the fourth season of “Emily in Paris,” which will be released in two parts. The first portion will premiere on August 15, with the second part following on September 12.
