What’s a trip to Australia without a stop at the Sydney Opera House?

King Charles and Queen Camilla played tourist today during their trip to Australia. The duo hit one of Sydney’s most iconic stops, the Sydney Opera House, and maybe inadvertently recreated one of the most memorable moments from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal tour of Australia. The Sussexes made a visit to the famed opera house on October 16, 2018, and photographers managed to snap the royals as they descended a staircase. Today, Charles and Camilla were captured at the same location.

Camilla’s outfit even echoed Markle’s, as both the queen and duchess opted to wear white dresses and tan-colored shoes for the stop at the (admittedly very photogenic) Sydney Opera House.

The photo op was an easy way to give a nod to the royals’ history in Australia, but Charles opened up about something he won’t be attempting anytime soon: Harry’s newfound hobby of surfing.

When asked if he’d ever attempt to take on the waves and hang ten, the king noted, “If I was a younger man.”

While the king and queen’s trip has been jam-packed with activities like church visits and alpaca meet and greets in Canberra, Hello! notes that the duo are taking time to rest—especially as royal fans are reminded that King Charles is still undergoing cancer treatment back at home (he’s putting it on pause while he’s abroad, however).

“Their majesties decided to take a ‘rest day’ during the high-profile six-day trip, likely to help them adjust to the time difference and recharge their batteries ahead of their busy schedule,” the outlet reported.

Buckingham Palace confirmed, sharing, “We’ve had to, as you would with any visit, think about how you can ensure their majesty’s energies are preserved to be at their best.”
