Cardi B opened up about her finances and her exorbitant shopping spree during a late-night Twitter Spaces chat on Wednesday morning, November 27. Notably, she filed for divorce from her husband Offset in the summer of 2024 after being married for six years.

In the chat, Cardi B discussed her mega-million shopping escapade following her divorce from Offset, where she splurged over $2 million on bags, designer jewelry, and other gifts for herself. However, the multi-millionaire didn’t run short on cash because she reportedly makes up to $2.5 million per show. In the United States, she claimed to earn $1.5 million per show, while it became $2.5 million if she performed abroad.

“I’m an expensive b*tch, I love money, I breathe money, I smell money, I need money because I got a lot of bills to pay, y’all not gonna to tell me what to do. Are you f**king dvmb?” she said.

Talking about her expenses, she opened up about the assortment of bills and salaries she pays to keep up her lifestyle. They include paying for cleaning services, car services, 24-hour security services, and covering the legal fees of her friends.

“I pay my nanny for my baby $700 a day,” she continued. “Every single time I step out just hair and makeup is about $4,000, $5,000, depending on the length of the f###### hair. My outfits don’t even be less than f###### $8,000. Just so I can step out of the house, let’s make that clear,” Cardi B said.

Sharing her mega shopping spree in October with fans, the rapper explained that she got around $700,000 worth of purchases including $295,000 in jewelry from designer Elliot Eliantte.

“In October alone, I spent about $2 million just on my gifts I bought for myself. Because you know what? I’m divorced, I’m single and shopping makes me feel good.”

On September 25, Cardi B took to Instagram to seemingly lambast her soon-to-be-divorced husband Offset. After claiming that she was feeling threatened to move on, she implored the other person (who is suspected to be Offset) to move on as well.

Thereafter, she threatened to initiate a ‘court war’ and described herself as a ‘real gangster a*s b***ch.’

“One thing that I’m not going to do to you ever is entertaining your opps that be in my DMs trying to suck my p**sy. I will never do that because an opp to you is a n**ga that want you dead and I don’t want you dead because my kids love the f**k out of you,” she said.

Rapper Offset suddenly commented under the livestream, seemingly accusing Cardi B of cheating on him while she was pregnant.

“U f**ked with a baby inside tell the truth!” he commented.

For the unversed, Cardi B shares three children with Offset – a son Wave Set Cephus, and two daughters Kulture Kiari Cephur, and a newborn daughter she welcomed in September 2024. Offset, meanwhile, also fathers sons Jordan, Kody, and Kalea from his previous relationships.

Offset and Cardi B have had a topsy-turvy relationship ever since they started dating in February 2017. The two secretly got married in September 2017 but split in December 2018 amid reports of cheating. In September 2020, Cardi filed for divorce after rumors of Offset cheating on her again. However, they welcomed their son Wave a year later.

In June 2023, Offset alleged that Cardi B had been intimate with another person, which the latter denied. The next month, she confirmed in an interview with Page Six that she had filed for divorce from Offset. According to Page Six, a rep for Cardi told the publication in August that her goal was “obtaining the primary custody” of her children after the divorce saga.
