Megan Thee Stallion receiving zero Grammy nominations this year has caused quite a stir on the internet. On Friday, November 8, the nominees for the 2025 Grammy Awards were announced and the Houston rapper was one of the several notable absentees.

Megan Thee Stallion has had a successful year with the release of her third studio album called Megan. It was a commercial chartbuster, debuting at number three on the US Billboard 200 with 64,000 album-equivalent units earned. To promote Megan, the rapper embarked on her first headlining concert tour called Hot Girl Summer Tour.

Cobra, Boa, Hiss, and Mamushi were the four hit singles from the album. While all singles peaked inside the top 40 in the United States, Hiss went on to become Thee Stallion’s first solo number-one hit on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Fans on social media were quick to pen down their reactions on X after the Grammy nominees were announced. Some popular reactions were as follows:

“HISS not being nominated is just weird,” a fan wrote on X.

“Idc whose side you’re on but you’re lying if you say HISS didn’t deserve to be nominated. Especially over some of those other ones like Carnival,” another agreed.
