Lily Collins is in the middle of filming season four of Emily in Paris and fans can’t wait for new episodes of the fan-fave series!

The cast just wrapped filming in Paris and production has moved to Rome, Italy for the remainder of the season.

The third season, which premiered back in December 2022 on Netflix, ended with quite a few cliffhangers. We of course expect certain stars to be back, but the fate of some actors is up in the air. There’s one star in particular whose fate is unknown.

Set photos from Rome have already revealed that Emily might have a new love interest!

Lily Collins as Emily Cooper – DEFINITELY RETURNING

There of course is no Emily in Paris without Lily as Emily. She also has shared the first photo from the season four set, confirming she’ll be back!

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie – RETURNING

At the end of season three, Emily decides to work with Sylvie at Savoir instead of returning to Chicago, so we can definitely expect to see Sylvie again.

Ashley Park as Mindy Chen – RETURNING

Mindy has always been Emily’s best friend and sidekick and we can expect her to return in the next season.

Lucas Bravo as Gabriel – RETURNING

Gabriel and Camille broke up at the end of season three, but we also learned that she’s pregnant. We definitely will be learning more about their story in season four.

Samuel Arnold as Julien – EXPECTED TO RETURN

At the end of season three, Emily decides to work with Julien at Savoir instead of returning to Chicago, so we can definitely expect to see Sylvie again.

Bruno Gouery as Luc – EXPECTED TO RETURN

At the end of season three, Emily decides to work with Luc at Savoir instead of returning to Chicago, so we can definitely expect to see Sylvie again.

Camille Razat as Camille – EXPECTED TO RETURN

Camille and Gabriel broke up at the end of season three, but now she’s pregnant!

William Abadie as Antoine Lambert – EXPECTED TO RETURN

Antoine is always in the mix and we can expect to see him again in season three.

Lucien Laviscount as Alfie – EXPECTED TO RETURN

Even though Emily and Alfie broke up in the end of season three, he’s expected to be back in season four.

“I don’t think romantically he is in the picture,” creator Darren Star told Deadline. “I don’t think that makes Alfie out of the show. He certainly has a reason to be in Paris, and he’s working with Gabriel. I feel like all of our characters are still connected, just in a more complicated way.”

Paul Forman as Nicolas de Léon – EXPECTED TO RETURN

Nicolas was Mindy’s love interest throughout season three and he’ll likely be back for the fourth season.

Melia Kreiling as Sofia Sideris – EXPECTED TO RETURN

Camille’s other love interest Sofia is expected to return as well.

“I think quite possibly we could see more of her,” Darren Star told Deadline. “I don’t know that that is a relationship that’s over, and I think that there was a romantic spark between the two of them that I feel like we’ve never seen between Camille and Gabriel. I feel like there’s like some real passion there between the two of them.”

Kevin Dias as Benoît – EXPECTED TO RETURN

Kevin Dias confirmed that Benoit will be back as Mindy’s band member in season four.

“We might go to Eurovision, obviously,” he told Forbes. “I usually just discover the episodes, the scripts, a few days before shooting. They love for us to gather all together and to read and discover what’s going to happen on the table reads with the producer and all the cast. We’re shooting season four this year, that’s for sure. I kind of disappear in episode five of season three, but Darren Star came to me saying like ‘Don’t worry, you’re going to come back in an unexpected way.’ When I saw Eurovision, I didn’t expect that! It was so cool for him to come to me to say ‘Hey, you’re coming back!’ I guess we’re not done surprising you!”

Arnaud Binard as Laurent G. – EXPECTED TO RETURN

Now that Sylvie and Laurent G. are back together, we bet he’s going to be back again!

Eugenio Franceschini – POSSIBLE NEW LOVE INTEREST FOR EMILY

New photos from the set of Emily in Paris in April 2024 revealed that Italian actor Eugenio Franceschini has joined the cast of the series.

Based on the pics, it appears that he may be playing a new love interest for Emily, but nothing has been confirmed about his character yet.

Kate Walsh as Madeline – FATE UNKNOWN

The only cast member whose fate is up in the air is Madeline, played by Kate Walsh. At the end of season three, she shut down the Paris office and returned to Chicago. Emily is now working at Savoir!

Of course, Madeline could end up in the story somehow, but it feels like her storyline was wrapped up nicely.
