Fans of the hit Netflix series were devastated to see protagonist Emily break up with Alfie during season four.
Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount, quickly became a fan favourite on the show but it looks like he likely won’t play as big a role in season five.
However, the English actor has landed a new role in a new rom-com and it’s the perfect film if you love the Netflix series.
Laviscount stars in the rom-com This Time Next Year and it’s a must-watch if you’re in need of something easy to watch over the weekend.
Actress Sophie Cookson stars alongside Lucien Laviscount in This Time Next Year.
The film is based on the book by author Sophie Cousens. Her novel is a New York Times Bestseller so we certainly have high hopes for the film adaptation.
The film follows Londoners Minnie and Quinn who discover they were born on New Year’s Eve, at the same hospital, one minute apart.
The charming rom-com landed on Netflix on September 20th.
