Cardi B and JT have been in a long-running beef since 2022 and have had publicly heated exchanges via X (formerly Twitter) during the same. However, fans speculate all might have become well between the two female rappers after Cardi posted a picture on X on August 21, 2024, with the caption:

“What about your friends”

While there is no context to the picture or mention of whether it is from Cardi’s previous or recent pregnancy, the woman in the picture is seen touching Cardi B’s pregnant belly in the picture with both looking down and smiling.

The feud between Cardi B and JT began with a private conversation in 2022 followed by a heated exchange of tweets and indirect mentions in diss tracks like City Cinderella and Okay. At the time, Cardi reportedly called JT a “lapdog” on X, without mentioning her name, to which JT replied by calling Cardi a “Wiener dog”.

The highlights of their exchange comprised JT claiming that Cardi entertains social media users instead of fetching real talent, while Cardi responded to the same by claiming JT used ghostwriters for her tracks.

Fans were surprised to see Cardi’s post given they speculated the woman in the picture is allegedly JT. Trying to reconfirm the claim, one of the fans tweeted:

While some internet users celebrated the alleged reconciliation, some expressed that they were unsure about the woman in the picture being JT:

“If you find me the bag I’ll release my album cover”— Cardi B hints at long-due album

Time and again there have been mentions of Cardi B’s long-due sophomore album, wherein the rapper hasn’t released any concrete details about the release date or tracks.

However, Cardi B makes it a point to respond to claims about her upcoming album, a recent instance of which took place in July 2024 wherein Joe Budden made a comment on The Joe Budden Podcast stating that people will never “get another Cardi album again” and that he is standing on it.

Taking to X Spaces, the I Like It rapper replied to Joe Budden’s comment and stated:

“I don’t give a f**k when people talk sh*t about me. It’s the fact you always talk sh*t about me, Joe Budden. Out of nowhere, you would think I did something to this n***a… For the past two years, this n***a has only talked bad things about me, constantly.”

Additionally, Cardi hinted at progress in her sophomore album and informed fans about the same via an exchange with a fan on X. An internet user on X, @fire04277, posted a GIF of a person standing in a helicopter with a bag on August 17, 2024, and tweeted:

“I’m on my way to France to see if I can find cardi the Hermes bag that she wants 😆 @iamcardib I got you sis”

Cardi B responded to the X user’s tweet on the same day, giving an update about her upcoming album by tweeting:

“If you find me the bag I’ll release my album cover.”

The fan replied to Cardi’s tweet asking her if the album covers were ready to which the Punteria rapper responded by stating that the “album covers are taken” but she doesn’t know which one to pick.

In other news, Cardi B recently announced her pregnancy and is about to welcome her third child amidst separation from Offset. The rapper also shared being in a “freak accident” via X Spaces on August 8, 2024, mentioning the accident almost caused a miscarriage.
