The cast of the hit Netflix series have been manifesting for it to happen, and now so are we.

and just like that season 2

Finally, Emily In Paris has returned to our screens and while we’re completely hooked on the last goings-on of the titular character’s messy sphere in the French capital, following recent interviews with stars of the show, we’re equally excited about what’s going on outside of the show.

In an interview with IMDb, Lucas Bravo, who plays a French cook Gabriel (and makes up one third of the series’ love triangle alongside Emily and Alfie) admitted that he and several of his fellow cast members have been ‘manifesting’ for Sex And The City’s Kim Cattrall to join the rom-com series.

‘We’ve been talking about – earlier – about having Kim Cattrall, manifesting her presence on Emily in Paris,’ said the 36-year-old actor, when discussing which show he’d like to a crossover with.

He also revealed how he’d been wishing for it to one day become a reality. ‘But it would imply that there’s a substantial role for her to take on, and also [for] her to say yes to that idea. But I’ve been floating all day and dreaming about that opportunity and I hope it happens.’

Similarly, his co-stars where all in agreement of a Sex And The City crossover. Lily Collins, who stars as Emily Cooper, also weighed in her thoughts. ‘I would say the obvious but also genuine answer is gonna be Sex and the City just because naturally I feel like there’s a lot of crossover there,’ she said.

And of course, she’s not wrong, because what would both shows be without their many plot lines that cover the highs and lows of love, friendship, career journeys and, of course, feature more than their fair share of fabulous fashion.

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu who plays Sylvie also restated Collins and Bravo’s thoughts, ‘The obvious is Sex and the City’, to which Bruno Gouery (Luc) agreed.

Ashley Park, who stars as Mindy Chen, also felt the same. ‘Sex and the City too. I mean, obviously,’ as Lucien Laviscount, who plays cheeky chappy Alfie, agreed.

While nothing is set in stone or has been announced, now that the possibility of Kim Cattrall starring in Emily In Paris has been placed in our minds, we’d of course love to see it become a reality in the fifth season. Whether she stars as one of Antoine’s lovers or as the head of a competing French marketing firm, we’re very much here for it.
