Cardi B has been releasing quite a bit of music lately. The rapper has doled out a handful of new tunes in the first few months of 2024, and all of them have become hits on at least one Billboard chart she knows well–the Digital Song Sales ranking. This week, the hip-hop powerhouse earns another placement on the tally, and it sits right next to a very familiar track.
“Punteria” by Shakira and Cardi debuts at No. 10 on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart, which measures the bestselling tunes in the country. The new track arrives inside the top 10 thanks to 2,956 copies sold, according to Luminate.
Cardi claims a pair of spots inside the top 10 on the Digital Song Sales chart this frame. As “Punteria” launches at No. 10, her previous single “Enough (Miami)” falls to No. 9, giving the rapper two wins right next to one another.
Last week, “Enough (Miami)” debuted at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales ranking. It gave Cardi her seventh leader on the tally, as it arrived with 37,000 sales. In its second frame on the tally, the single sold another 3,126 copies–less than 10% of what it managed in its intro period.
This latest hit is featured on Shakira’s new album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. “Punteria” is the biggest hit from the set on this week’s Billboard charts, thanks largely to Cardi’s involvement. In addition to its success on the Digital Song Sales list, it also tops the Latin Digital Song Sales running. It’s new to the Hot 100 at No. 72, bringing both stars back to the list of the most-consumed tracks in the country.
