Blogger Storm Monroe shared an Instagram message from Cardi B on Thursday (August 22), informing him that she intends to sue the blogger for spreading false information about abortion and assault.
Apparently, the blogger shared a since-deleted video alleging that Cardi’s mother-in-law fought the rap star at her and her husband‘s Atlanta home. In the video, Storm Monroe would also allege that Cardi, who is pregnant with her third child, offered money to an individual for an abortion. Prompting the entertainer to reach out to the blogger via Instagram with plans to take legal action.
Monroe would share a screenshot of the message with his followers. In the message, Cardi B wrote: “The way I’m gonna sue your ass for that story you made up.. For you to say I offered to pay anybody for an abortion AND say that me and Offset’s mom put hands on each other is crazy!! I would never disrespect my kids grandmother or put my hands on someone’s MOM. That’s not even her character or mine..”
She continued: “Then to claim that I’m paying someone to take a child’s life is insane but you will be getting a lawsuit your way.”
The blogger accepted Cardi’s message as validation for their platform. In the post’s caption, Monroe would ask for follower’s reactions and inquiry about legal services. He wrote, “Just got a DM from Cardi B this morning – looks like ya boy is official in these celebrity streets! Guess I need a lawyer now too, anyone know one that takes payments in memes cause #iaintgotit [laughing emoji] [laughing emoji]. Lemme know your thoughts down below.”
Cardi refuted foreclosure claims in July regarding her Atlanta home. After filing for divorce last month, Cardi B announced she was expecting her third child with Offset. During her pregnancy, she has been addressing trolls on social media for various allegations, including skin-bleaching.
