Cardi B recently got candid about her experience living in Atlanta amid her divorce from Offset. On Thursday (August 22), the Invasion Of Privacy rapper took to her Instagram Live to chat with her Bardi Gang. During the discussion, the rapper seemingly took shots at Offset’s hometown of Atlanta.
While many assumed she was living in the ATL with the “Blame It On Set” rapper, Cardi reveals it’s untrue — apparently, she’s been living in New Jersey with her children for some time. She says she only visits Atlanta “three or four times a year.” She added, “And probably I go for a week, maybe less. I tried to move to Atlanta in 2018 and I lived there for like six months. And I hated it. I don’t have not one friend in Atlanta, and I don’t have not even one family member in Atlanta. So I just don’t like Atlanta.”
On the music front, Cardi B is reportedly ready to drop her sophomore album. Sources revealed to TMZ that Bardi’s second album will be coming out in 2024. However, no official date or album title has been released. Cardi’s debut album, Invasion Privacy, was released in 2018. In other news, Cardi B recently went back and forth online with a troll about allegations she bleaches her skin.
Prior to the incident, someone posted, “Has Cardi been bleaching her skin? [flush-faced emoji].” Upon catching wind of the post, Cardi quickly fired back. Being nearly three months pregnant, she says she knows that it would be dangerous. “Bleaching while pregnant? Why must yall be so dumb? Actually NO! I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic, this baby suckin’ all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale, eyes sunken, veins green ASF, can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast, and dizzy …. PLEASE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR ASSHOLE!” she quoted the post.
