What is the reason Harry is considering returning to the UK when he feels unsafe with Meghan Markle after Kate Middleton’s secret was revealed?

Prince Harry is considering an imminent return to the UK “on one condition”, a friend has revealed.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, could attend the memorial service for his uncle Robert Fellows, who passed away at the age of 82 on 29 July.

However, because of the controversy surrounding the duke, who recently told ITV that the UK is not safe enough for Meghan Markle, he will only attend if there is not “too much drama.”

“He would want to be there. It will be a huge gathering of the Spencer clan,” a friend told the Daily Beast.

“[But] it may well be that everyone feels Harry’s attendance would just create too much drama.”

This comes as the royals begin their summer holiday at Balmoral.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have already travelled to Scotland and were joined yesterday by Princess Anne, who attended Edinburgh’s military tattoo.

The Wales family and their children will also attend, marking the furthest the Princess of Wales has travelled since being diagnosed with cancer.

Inside King Charles and Queen Camilla’s ‘constant battle’

King Charles and Queen Camilla are “polar opposites” in one area and this has resulted in a “constant battle” at home, Camilla’s sister has revealed.

While King Charles prefers a slight breeze, the queen consort prefers temperatures “warm and cosy”.

“There’s a constant battle about it,” Annabel Elliot revealed in Robert Hardman’s biography King Charles: New King.

“He will have opened [a window]. She will creep in behind and shut it.

“So there’s a lot of: ‘Oh, darling, you shut the window’, ‘Yes, I have, because we’re all freezing.’ So a lot of banter goes on.”

Prince Harry considering UK return ‘on one condition’

The Duke of Sussex is reportedly considering an imminent return to the UK “on one condition”, a friend has revealed.

Harry, 39, is set to attend the funeral of his uncle Robert Fellowes, who passed away on 29 July at the age of 82.

“In normal times it would be unimaginable that Harry would not be there to support Jane [his widow]. Of course he would want to be there. It will be a huge gathering of the Spencer clan,” Harry’s friend told the Daily Beast.

“But these are not normal times and it may well be that everyone feels Harry’s attendance would just create too much drama. It will be very sad for him if he can’t make it.”

Should Harry return to the UK, he will almost certainly be alone after he recently told ITV that he will not bring Meghan Markle to his home country because he fears “a knife or acid attack”.

Memorial garden to feature late Queen Elizabeth’s favourite flowers

A new memorial garden celebrating the life of the late Queen Elizabeth II will feature her favourite flowers, The Telegraph has revealed.

Located in London’s Regent’s Park, construction is scheduled to begin in late 2024. The garden is expected to be complete in 2026, marking what would have been the late monarch’s 100th birthday.

The Royal Parks said in a statement: “The site once grew shrubs and plants for London’s eight Royal Parks but following the opening of the Hyde Park Nursery in 2018, it was decommissioned.

“This site will now return two acres of public green space to central London.”

Kate doesn’t want family drama after cancer treatment, says author of new royal book

The Princess of Wales does not want any drama within the royal family following her cancer treatment, a royal author has claimed. Robert Jobson – author of the new biography Catherine, the Princess of Wales – explained how the princess is keen to leave any drama in the past. “She is someone who solves problems and rises above the drama,” Jobson said in an interview with Good Morning America on Wednesday (31 July). Jobson explained how Kate had sorted previous “moments of friction” between King Charles and Prince William. The royal author added: “After going through treatment like this you don’t want to do drama anymore and I think that is something she has experienced.”

Queen Camilla ‘initially against’ King Charles disclosing health troubles

Queen Camilla was “initially against” King Charles’s decision to reveal he was undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate, a new biography has claimed.

While Camilla’s reasoning was not explained, royal author Rob Jobson claimed the king wanted to be transparent to avoid media speculation about his health and to set a good example.

Rob Jobson revealed: “Queen Camilla had initially been against disclosing his condition, but the King overruled her as he felt it was a chance to take a lead and in doing so to encourage men experiencing similar symptoms to seek timely medical attention.

“There was a significant increase in searches related to enlarged prostate on the National Health Service website following the monarch’s revelation.”

Harry and Meghan’s royal feud ‘as great as ever’

The tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family are “as great as ever”, an expert has claimed.

Historian Dr Tessa Dunlop told The Mirror: “Despite all their well-intentioned good works and conciliatory talk in other fields, the chasm between the Sussexes and the British royals remains as great as ever.”

The historian suggested that open and honest communication between the two parties is the only way forward.

“Until there is genuine open contact between the House of Windsor and the Sussexes, Harry and Meghan’s pain thesis will continue to wound, undermining credibility on both sides,” Dunlop added.

“As the duchess explained on Sunday, if her sharing helps others, ‘Then that’s worth it. I’ll take a hit for that.’”

Prince Harry wants King Charles to ‘look like the bad guy’

Prince Harry has been slammed for announcing a visit to Colombia after claiming the UK is too unsafe for Meghan Markle to visit.

The Duke of Sussex told ITV that he will not bring the former actress back to the country because he fears “an acid or knife” attack fuelled by negative tabloid stories.

Colombia is a famously dangerous country and a representative for Harry and Meghan confirmed to The Independent that they will have “full security” on their trip.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield said: “I think just this is further proof that this is all a hissy fit that Prince Harry is pitching because he wants to make his father look like the bad guy.”

The presenter’s removal from the platform began with an episode of Doctor Who in which he had a brief cameo.

Events of key historical importance, including King Charles’s coronation, will reportedly be re-recorded with new voiceovers.
