Fans of Virgin River are buzzing with speculation that Mel Monroe (portrayed by Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) may end up with a rather large family as the series progresses.

The popular Netflix series follows nurse practitioner Mel who relocates to a quaint Northern California community after enduring a tragic loss, only to find herself falling for Jack, an ex-Marine and local bar proprietor.

With season six culminating in nuptials for the couple, the series’ latest instalment brought their relationship to new heights, concluding with both jubilant celebrations and startling twists, particularly concerning Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley), whose sudden vanishing act sets the scene for future episodes.

Surprise envelopes Jack at his discovery of Charmaine’s apparent absence in the final moments of the sixth season finale, while simultaneously, Mel is faced with an unexpected plea from Marley (Rachel Drance) to care for her baby.

Avid show enthusiasts voiced their predictions on Reddit regarding the upcoming season, with one follower projecting: “It will be 3-4 babies in one day adoption.”

Echoing this sentiment, another chimed in: “Living in a farm with a lot of babies. That was Mel’s dream when she told Jack in season one I think!”

Further contributing to the fan theories, a separate post laid out a thoroughly considered forecast for the show’s ultimate direction, replete with intriguing proof.

An avid Virgin River viewer has theorised: “My prediction is that they’re basically setting them up to get all the babies they thought they were going to get two seasons ago,” as they dissected the show’s potential plot twists.

“I think Charmaine is toast and those boys are going to Jack and Mel as they thought was going to happen before he found out he wasn’t the father.
