Here’s the viral video that some believe shows the Duchess of Sussex favoring her friend’s daughter over Princess Charlotte during royal wedding.

To the outside world, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s wedding went off without a hitch. In fact, the day mirrored something out of a storybook and had the makings of a fairy tale. Therefore, the millions of people watching around the globe had no idea trouble had been brewing behind the scenes.

We now know that not only did Prince William and Prince Harry have problems and disagreements leading up to the Sussexes’ wedding, but the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) and Meghan did as well. The ladies’ quarrel occurred during Princess Charlotte‘s dress fitting and there have been differing stories over who made who cry. We’ve heard from the bridesmaid dress tailor about this as well as Meghan herself and Harry, who later backed up his wife’s story.

Now, a video has gone viral of what some believe shows Meghan’s true feelings toward little Charlotte after the altercation with her mother.

What happened during the bridesmaid dress fitting

After the Sussexes stepped down, a story came out about what happened between Meghan and Kate leading up to the wedding.

The Telegraph associate editor Camilla Tominey insisted that two royal insiders gave her the information that Meghan made Kate cry after they disputed over Princess Charlotte’s dress not fitting her properly. It was also claimed that Meghan was showing favoritism to her then-best friend Jessica Mulroney’s little girl, Ivy, and ignoring that Charlotte’s dress needed to be fixed.

During Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey though, she told the former talk show host that she did not make Kate cry and that it was the other way around.

“The reverse happened,” the former Suits star said. “A few days before the wedding, [Kate] was upset about something pertaining–yes, the issue was correct about dresses, and it made me cry and it really hurt my feelings … It was a really hard week of the wedding and she was upset about something but she owned it and she apologized and she bought me flowers, and a note apologizing.”

But did any ill feelings spill over into the wedding day?

The video posted to TikTok has fans sounding off as many have pointed out that Meghan “glared” at Princess Charlotte before smiling at Mulroney’s daughter.

The blink-and-you-missed-it moment is shown at the very beginning of the eight-second clip as Charlotte and Ivy make their way to the alter where the bride and groom are standing together with the text: “Glares at Princess Charlotte” and “Smiles at Ivy.” The video then cuts to a shot of Prince William as the text reads, “Don’t make me your enemy,” before showing Queen Elizabeth with a no-nonsense look on her face and the text: “Your enemy.”

It’s been viewed more than 640,000 times with over 8,500 likes and 100 comments.

One person posted: “William and the queen are not having it,” while another wrote, “If William did see the glare at Charlotte … END.”

A third person added: “The queen’s face said it all. She was no fool.”

And a fourth chimed in: “This makes me angry she acted that way towards [Charlotte].”

Some, however, said they didn’t notice Meghan’s “glare” in the brief clip, to which another commenter responded: “Saw a clearer video of this. She did glare at Lottie, the quick shift in her eyes was chilling.”
