When it comes to Eminem, much of 2024 has been all about his new album. The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)was a huge hit the moment it dropped, and in the months since, it’s performed fairly well, though it doesn’t appear it will have a long shelf life. As fans begin to move on from the latest from the rapper, the project that started it all is mounting a quick comeback—and it’s not his only title that’s doing so.

The Slim Shady LP reappears on one chart in the U.K. this week. The set is a top 40 win again, as it reappears at No. 35 on the Official Hip Hop and R&B Albums tally, which ranks the bestselling full-lengths in those styles across the pond.

Eminem released The Slim Shady LP 25 years ago, and the studio effort celebrated that special milestone earlier in 2024. The album was fronted by the lead single “My Name Is,” which propelled the then-underground hip-hop musician to the top of the charts. In the decades since, he’s only become bigger and bigger, while the tune and the project have remained classics.

The Slim Shady LP is one of Eminem’s 13 No. 1s on the Official Hip Hop and R&B Albums chart. That roundup includes both traditional studio efforts and compilations, as the rapper has succeeded with both in the past.

As The Slim Shady LP returns, so, too, does another one of Eminem’s full-lengths. Curtain Call: The Hits breaks back onto the Official Album Downloads chart at No. 80.

The same title is also on the rise on two other rankings this week. Curtain Call, which is already one of the most successful greatest hits compilations of all time, nearly re-enters the top 10 on the Official Hip Hop and R&B Albums chart, as it pushes to No. 12. It’s also up to thirteenth place on the Official Albums Streaming tally. At the same time, the set falls one rung on the main list of the most-consumed albums in the U.K., though it’s still present at No. 16, which is a lofty position for such an old collection.

In addition to his pair of returning favorites, several other Eminem albums are present on at least one chart apiece in the U.K., with some appearing on several at once. Curtain Call 2, The Eminem Show, The Marshall Mathers LP, and The Death of Slim Shady are all still being consumed in large enough numbers to land on the weekly rankings, as is often the case.
