The royal lip reading between Kate Middleton and Prince Louis was really sweet

members of the royal family attend the 'together at christmas' carol service

The royal family gathered for Kate Middleton’s annual carol service earlier this month, and the entire event aired on ITV in England—including some very sweet moments between the Princess of Wales and her kids. And naturally lip readers were ON THE CASE.

In a trailer for the special—shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram—Prince Louis apparently turned to his mom and said “we’re looking out for each other.”

I mean…I’m gonna need a moment.

Just FYI that Kate gave a speech ahead of her carol service, saying “Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. It is a time for presents, tinsel and mince pies, but it’s also a time to slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all. It is when we stop and take ourselves away from the pressures of daily life that we find the space to live our lives with an open heart, with love, kindness and forgiveness, so much of what the Christmas spirit is all about.”

She added, “The Christmas story encourages us to consider the experiences and feelings of others. It also reflects our own vulnerabilities and remindsus of the importance of giving and receiving empathy, as well as just how much we need each other in spite of our differences.”

The royals also made an appearance on Christmas Day for the annual public walk in Sandringham, which you can read about right this way.
