Actor Tania Raymonde plays a role in The Lincoln Lawyer‘s season 3, which provides a surprising follow-up to an Amazon legal drama that ran from 2016 to 2021. The Netflix original show follows defense attorney Mickey Haller as he takes on new clients whose crimes vary from theft to first-degree murder. In The Lincoln Lawyer season 3, Mickey Haller faces his biggest test yet when he has to solve the murder of his friend and former client Gloria Dayton, aka Glory Days.
Glory Days’ murder is far from straightforward, and many aspects of the character are only revealed by her colleagues Kendall Roberts and Trina Rafferty in The Lincoln Lawyer. Tania Raymonde’s Trina Rafferty is one of the most clever and street-smart characters in The Lincoln Lawyer season 3, which is one of the many similarities to another role the actor played only three years earlier.
Tania Raymonde’s The Lincoln Lawyer Role Is Very Reminiscent Of Her Goliath Character
Brittany Gold And Trina Rafferty Have A Similar Storyline
In Amazon’s Goliath, Tania Raymonde plays Brittany Gold, a whip-smart woman who works as Billy McBride’s paralegal by day and a sex worker by night. She keeps her latter profession a secret until it becomes helpful in catching a corrupt cop. This is very similar to Trina Rafferty, a sex worker who uses her profession to help Agent De Marco, functioning as a confidential informant. She later provides crucial information that allows Mickey to figure out the conspiracy that contributed to Glory Days’ death.
Unlike Brittany Gold, Tania Raymonde’s The Lincoln Lawyer character is less enthusiastic about being involved in the legal world, preferring to continue her life as a sex worker in peace. She only participates as a confidential informant because she has no other choice except jail. Additionally, she only shares information with Mickey about Glory Days if he pays her.
Will Tania Raymonde Return As Trina In The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4?
Trina Rafferty Doesn’t Appear In The Law Of Innocence
The likelihood of Tania Raymonde playing Trina again in The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 is slim for a few reasons. Firstly, she really only came into play because she had a relationship with Glory Days. She isn’t more than tangentially connected to any of the main characters in The Lincoln Lawyer. Since Glory Days’ murder is solved, there’s no reason for her to return.
She only appears in The Gods of Guilt , meaning there isn’t a storyline upon which to draw.
Secondly, The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 will follow The Law Of Innocence by Michael Connelly, which focuses on Mickey Haller defending himself from murder charges. There isn’t a straightforward way to connect her with this story. Plus, she only appears in The Gods of Guilt, meaning there isn’t a storyline upon which to draw. However, The Lincoln Lawyer has previously given characters with little or no role in the book significant roles, so there’s still a lingering possibility.
