A new plot twist might be coming in the Netflix hit Outer Banks, or at least that’s what the fans are debating. Certain rumors have been circulating that Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline) is pregnant.
The first half of Season 4 alluded that the stakes will be higher than ever for the Pogues. With some shocker reveals likely in tow, there will be more intense revelations, with John B (Chase Stokes) announcing in the trailer for Part 2, “It’s all on the line. The question is: What would we risk to protect it?”
Fans began theorizing that Sarah is pregnant after analyzing certain scenes in the trailer. “Maybe you could find, like, one positive thing?” Sarah asks Kiara (Madison Bailey). Sarah then covers her mouth in shock as the two smile at each other, which fans believe is the moment Sarah finds out. “Okay Sarah IS PREGNANT,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), referring to the Sarah and Kiara scene.
John B also tells Sarah, “We’re gonna figure this out. We always do,” which could be when Sarah breaks the news to John B that she’s expecting.
However, not everyone is happy with this plausible storyline. TikTok creator @samepaige22 even called the possible plot twist “dumb.” A fan on X wrote, “A pregnancy trope does NOT belong in a show like outer banks..jonas pate what have you done.”

So, how will Sarah cope if she is indeed pregnant? That remains unclear. The Pogues are headed to Morocco in Season 4 Part 2. The OBX crew has to work alongside Sarah’s brother, Rafe (Drew Starkey), who agrees to help get them across the pond.
Sarah could very well not be pregnant. These hints could just be red herrings. It would be a lot for Sarah to have a baby in the midst of all the Pogue vs. Kook madness and treasure hunting. We’ll just have to tune in to the rest of Season 4 to see how it all unfolds. The show has also been renewed for a fifth and final season.
