Prince Harry

A courtier has claimed that Queen Camilla was not happy about Prince Harry’s visit earlier this month and that he asked him to leave Clarence House after 30 minutes

Prince Harry left Queen Camilla “outraged” during his visit to his father, King Charles, earlier this month and asked him to leave, a source has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex flew from California to the UK one day after the monarch’s cancer diagnosis was confirmed publicly. Harry spent around half an hour with his father at Clarence House and despite their brief encounter, Charles was reportedly overwhelmed by his youngest son’s return to the UK.

After the meeting, the King was pictured looking visibly emotional as he left Clarence House. And days later, Harry said during an interview with Good Morning America he was “grateful” to spend time with his father, declaring: “I love my family.”Queen Camilla

However, a courtier has claimed that Camilla was not happy about Harry’s visit, as he did not ask for palace approval before flying from the US. The unnamed source claimed Harry had “an attitude” which did not go down well with his stepmother, who married Charles in 2005.

The source told the National Enquirer, via RadarOnline: “Her Majesty was furious Harry flew in from his ritzy California home without getting palace approval – and came with an attitude.” The courtier continued: “I’m told Camilla was outraged. She’s taken a lot of bile from Harry for years and couldn’t wait to let him have it.”

They added: “Camilla has taken it all on the chin, but using her husband’s cancer as a ‘loving son’ PR stunt was the last straw. After the father-son reunion, I hear she told Harry he’s a disgrace to his father, the family and the monarchy – and she left no doubt he isn’t wanted back!”

Tensions between Harry and Camilla go back a long way – and in his memoir “Spare”, the Duke of Sussex described his father’s wife as “dangerous”, “evil” and “a villain”, accusing her of leaving “bodies in the street” while trying to change the public’s perception of her. He also claimed Camilla “sacrificed him” so she would improve her standing, and blamed her for leaking stories to the press about his wife Meghan Markle.

Harry wrote: “I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar.” Now, Channel 4 is reportedly producing a documentary focusing on “various elements of Camilla as our new Queen” is also going to tackle “her dynamic with Harry”, according to an insider. This topic could gain “the greatest attention”, they added.

Earlier this month, a royal expert said Harry will have to apologise to Camilla to receive his father’s forgiveness. Ingrid Seward shared her thoughts on Prince Harry’s complicated relationship with his father, saying: “I think Harry’s father would like there to be some reconciliation, but I think that in order for that to happen, Harry has to apologise to his step-mother. He has to apologise to Camilla once and for all. She’s the sort of woman that wouldn’t want to ask for it, but I think an apology might really be necessary at this stage.”
