Mike Tyson is never afraid to speak his mind, no matter the age of the person he is talking to.
He proved that on Thursday in an interview with 14-year-old social media personality Jazlyn Guerra —known as Jazzy’s World TV — when she asked him about what he hoped his legacy would be after he stepped away from the ring.
Tyson, who is slated to fight Jake Paul on Friday at AT&T Stadium outside of Dallas, snapped back with a rather morose answer.

“I don’t believe in the word legacy. I just think it’s another word for ego,” he said. “Legacy doesn’t mean nothing. That’s just some word everyone grabbed onto. … It means absolutely nothing to me. I’m just passing through. I’m gonna die and it’s going to be over. Who cares about legacy after that?
“What a big ego. I want people to think I’m this, I’m great. No, I’m nothing. We’re just dead. We’re dust, we’re absolutely nothing. Our legacy is nothing.”
Guerra, who rolled with the punches, thanked Tyson for the unique perspective his answer provided before the boxer continued with his train of thought.
“’Can you really imagine somebody saying: ‘I really want my legacy to be this way when I’m’ — you’re dead?” he continued. “You think someone really wants to think about you? Where’s the audacity – I want people to think about me when I’m gone. Who the f–k cares about when I’m gone?”
The young interviewer didn’t seem phased by the rather unique reply to he query during the video.
It was not the first time that the teen had interviewed the legendary boxer on her channel, having also spoken with him at Fanatics Fest in New York in August.
