Mark Zuckerberg Appears To Have Quietly Sold His NorCal Home for Nearly $30M

Some home sales make a big splash, while others happen with little fanfare.

A recent one, involving a property that’s been linked to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, was of the latter variety.

According to a report from the Real Deal, the four-bedroom, 3.5-bath mansion on about 3.5 acres in Woodside, CA, passed from one limited liability corporation to another in a $29.6 million deal a couple of weeks ago.

Little else is known about the transaction, but the home sale is a mere drop in Zuckerberg’s real estate portfolio bucket. The tech giant owns more than $300 million worth of properties in nearby Palo Alto, CA, and in Hawaii.

Zuckerberg didn’t keep the Woodside place for very long. An entity linked to his name shows that he purchased the 4,800-square-foot home, which is about 30 miles south of San Francisco, in December 2021.

But he likely enjoyed the open floor plan, homey kitchen, dining area, and living space that’s large enough for a baby grand piano.

The kitchen is smartly designed around a large island with a prep sink, and there’s lots of countertop space, a wine fridge, and a cookbook nook.

Nearby, a full wall of glass doors swing wide to reveal a covered, outdoor dining space overlooking the lush grounds.

The main bedroom has access to the rear yard, along with a fireplace, walk-in closets, and a small seating area. A luxe bath nearby offers double sinks, a deep tub, and a large shower.

The home also boasts a private screening room, family room, and an office.

Outside, there’s a lovely pool, spa, fireplace, and plenty of deck space for lounge chairs. A well-equipped outdoor kitchen with a grill station and separate wood-burning oven are readymade for entertaining.

Plus, a huge lawn is the perfect play space for dogs and kids. There’s even a bocce ball court, too.

Parking for eight cars (three spots are inside) and electric charging stations round out the listing.

Zuckerberg is a billionaire many times over. His company, Meta Platforms, owns some of the world’s most successful social media brands, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
