Mark Zuckerberg’s wife looks set to be the envy of the other moms on the school run after the Facebook CEO designed her a special Porsche minivan.
Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, have three young children, and he told fans on Instagram that she wanted a minivan to ferry them around. So he worked with luxury car company Porsche and the car customisation firm West Coast Customs to create a bespoke model.
Revealing the results on social media, the entrepreneur also shared that he had splashed out on a Porsche for himself in the same shade of white, so the pair could have “his and hers” sets of wheels.
“New side quest,” said Zuckerberg, as he posted a video of the flashy cars on Instagram. “Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I’ve been designing something I’m pretty sure should exist: a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan. Threw in a manual GT3 Touring to make it his and hers.”
Newsweek has contacted representatives for Zuckerberg for comment.
Zuckerberg, 40, was inundated with comments about the couple’s new rides, with the rapper Meek Mill dropping a string of fire emojis and musician Tré Cool writing: “Sick! Sell it to me when she’s done with it please.”
“That absolutely needs to exist!” exclaimed actor and TV host Mario Lopez. “Brilliant.. With 3 kids I’m all about the pimped out minivan :).” “Haha got to get the his and hers,” said martial arts star Mackenzie Dern. “Whattttt,” remarked YouTuber Demi Bagby, as TV producer Jeffrey Wisenbaugh said: “Soccer practice will never be the same again.”
“That’s great & smart!!” said TV star Drita D’Avanazo. “They would sell out lol.”
“Sheeeesh!!!” commented DJ D-Nice, as businesswoman Melinda Davenport posted: “Yesssss! Because even after school sports practice drop offs for the girls need 700 HP.”
“If my minivan doesn’t have more horsepower than my helicopter, what are we even doing here?” Zuckerberg joked back.
Fans were also blown away by the eye-catching minivan, with one jokingly asking: “Buy me one!” “Actually awesome,” said someone else.
“Zuck, you gotta let me hop in one of those,” another joked. “That’s mad level flex,” said another.
Zuckerberg and Chan starting dating when they met at Harvard University, before tying the knot in 2012. They welcomed their first child, daughter Maxima, in 2015. Their second daughter, August, was born in 2017, and their third girl, Aurelia, was born in 2023.
