Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez can’t seem to move on from the past. No, we’re not talking about their reported make out session that left fans super confused, we’re talking about their $68 million mansion. Soon after their split, they publicly listed their $68 million marital home. While a buyer was lined up, everything fell through again.
While the home originally couldn’t get any interest, Lopez and Affleck allegedly did find a couple who put an offer in. Per TMZ, “a couple from New Jersey fell in love with their 38,000 square foot Beverly Hills area home” and even made an offer for $64 million.
Despite the offer being accepted and the pair being about to let this mansion go, tragedy literally struck. Per the same outlet, a death in the family of the New Jersey couple made them pull out of escrow, despite being still interested in the mega-mansion.

Per TMZ, Lopez and Affleck will probably lose money on the sale due to improvements, Los Angeles’ mansion tax, and their broker’s fee, but that doesn’t seem to matter to them. How do we know that? Well, Beverly Hills luxury real estate agent Josh Flagg previously told People that since Lopez and Affleck listed the home “relatively close to what they paid for it,” it’s clear that “they really want to move the property.”
So it seems that despite wanting to unload the mansion, along with Affleck buying a new home and Lopezx looking, it really seems as though this mega-mansion won’t go.
