Jake Paul and Mike Tyson’s rescheduled fight at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is now just two weeks away but tickets are still available and have dropped in price

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul facing offJake Paul and Mike Tyson’s upcoming boxing match has been dealt another setback as ticket prices take a nosedive.

It marks another significant blow for the promoters, who have already faced several challenges this year. The rescheduled fight is set to take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 15, having been postponed in July due to ‘Iron Mike’ falling ill.

But even with the high-profile nature of the two fighters, tickets are astonishingly now being sold at a discount. Events of this magnitude usually increase in price, but promoters have cut the cost of hundreds of seats, with some going for as little as $30 according to MMA Junkie. With the stadium’s capacity exceeding 80,000, it is a major setback in the run-up to fight night.

A sell-out crowd was expected, but now, with just two weeks left, Seat Geek has listed tickets for $37, while others on StubHub are available for $52 – significantly less than anticipated. Ringside tickets, however, continue to fetch a hefty price, with the going rate over $50,000.

The same venue has previously hosted titanic fights between Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey, Antonio Margarito and Pacquiao, and Canelo Alvarez against Liam Smith and Billy Joe Saunders, attracting crowds of 51,000 and 73,000 for the latter two bouts.

Paul outlined his tactics ahead of the clash, saying: “To just box on the outside and then use my footwork to be more agile and get him chasing me and then attack him when he’s out of position. That should frustrate him.”

Tyson was quick to respond with a sharp comeback: “[It will last] Not long, as soon as I catch him, because he’s going to run like a thief. I don’t see how he’s going to make an exciting fight by running all day.

“He’s supposed to be the young guy, he’s supposed to run right through me… I’m an old man and he’s going to run all f***ing night?!”
