Turki Alalshikh made it clear in the build-up that he wanted Tyson Fury to defeat Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch, though he was predicting the Ukrainian to take it.
It was the second meeting between the two men, after Usyk had won back in May to become undisputed heavyweight champion.
The WBC, WBA and WBO belts were on the line on this occasion, with Alalshikh saying before the fight that he wanted Fury to win in order to see the trilogy.
It didn’t turn out that way, as Usyk won the fight by unanimous decision after all three judges scored it 116-112 in his favour.
Alalshikh has now revealed how he scored the contest whilst speaking to The Stomping Ground, and although he was supporting Fury in the build-up, he agreed exactly with the verdict.
“I think he [Usyk] won. I counted he had four rounds more on my account. Tyson did everything. He had an amazing fight. This is boxing. There is a winner and loser.”
IBF champion Daniel Dubois gate-crashed the Usyk celebrations after the fight, and Alalshikh has revealed he wants to see Usyk face Dubois next, provided the Brit can defeat Joseph Parker in February.
“If Dubois win in February, I want to see Usyk and Dubois again.”
Alalshikh then finished by saying he now wants to see Fury take on long-term rival Anthony Joshua.
“I want to see Tyson with Joshua, we will decide. Let’s see what can happen.”
Carl Froch was one of the big names in attendance for the fight, and he has given his analysis on how things unfolded.
