Jeff Bezos keeps making waves, and not just for being the world’s third-richest man with a staggering net worth of $167 billion. It’s also for his notable real estate holdings.

Now, and similar to many Americans since 2020, the billionaire is heading to the Sunshine State of Florida, where he’s made recent headlines for purchasing multiple mansions. Turns out they were all steps in the process of making a new nest for himself — a super-luxurious one, no less.

In an Instagram upload shared with his 4.1 million followers in early November, the 59-year-old Amazon founder revealed he was leaving his longtime base of Seattle to reside near his parents, who now live in Miami. His fiancée Lauren Sanchez will join him in the cross-country relocation, which is also due in part to his space exploration company Blue Origin increasingly shifting its business to Cape Canaveral.

“I want to be close to my parents, and Lauren and I love Miami,” Bezos wrote.

Jeff Bezos' has amassed a $420 million real estate portfolio.

The announcement comes roughly a month after the e-commerce executive purchased a $79 million spread on South Florida’s Indian Creek Island — a seven-bedroom, 14-bathroom property spread across 19,064 square feet.

This transaction came several months after Bezos reportedly purchased the $68 million home located right next door on the exclusive “Billionaire Bunker” island. That three-bedroom, three-bathroom home traded hands off-market in June — and neighbors will include Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. It’s 9,259 square feet on 2.8 acres.

What’s more, the trans-America move to Florida unveiled news that Bezos owns a property portfolio in Seattle worth a staggering $190 million, which includes five homes that went previously unreported. Among them, a $37.5 million mansion overlooking Lake Washington and three homes for his staffers.

Starting out in 1994 as a humble online bookstore, Amazon morphed into a multitrillion-dollar company with Bezos, now 59, as the ringleader of it all. Since then, he has amassed a gigantic overall real estate portfolio worth upward of roughly $570 million, accounting for inflation. Ranging from properties in Beverly Hills to Seattle to West Texas, and even cities like Washington, DC, and New York City, Bezos has a home for each climate.

But Bezos has plenty more places to rest his head. Scroll through to peek inside his good life.

Total, Bezos owns some $147 million worth of property on Indian Creek Island — with that sum boosted by the recent purchase of this $79 million spread there.

Despite his billionaire status, Bezos got a 7.1% discount from the May asking price of $85 million.

The home, at 12 Indian Creek Island, was built in 2000, stands on 1.84 acres and spreads across 19,064 square feet.

Among its perks: a pool, a theater, a library, a wine cellar and six garage spaces.

In June, not long after Bezos and Sanchez were spotted on his $500 million yacht sailing the Mediterranean Sea after becoming engaged, a big-dollar purchase closed for the two to share a Florida mansion.

On exclusive Indian Creek Island, this newly acquired perch had previously been owned by the hotelier Tulia Soucy de Gonzalez Gorrondona.

This mansion last traded hands in 1982 for $1.4 million — or some $4.4 million today when adjusted for inflation. Bezos reportedly has plans to bulldoze this property to build a grand megamansion in its place.

The island has a population of just 81 residents, and has its own mayor and police force.

It’s been widely reported that Bezos owns four apartments worth $17.5 million in the Century Condominium at 25 Central Park West, which neighbors Central Park and has been home to composer George Gershwin and “Friends” star Matthew Perry, according to Mansion Global. He is said to have bought three apartments in the building in 1999 for $7.65 million (about $12.13 million today), and added a fourth to his collection for $5.3 million in 2012.

However, an insider told The Post Bezos does not own any of these properties.

Either way, the 33-story, dual-tower structure was built in 1932 by Irwin Chanin, who was known for Broadway theater designs. The building, complete with Art Deco exterior and lobby, holds over 400 unique condominiums, according to StreetEasy.

In November 2021, Bezos spent an eye-popping $78 million on a sprawling Hawaiian estate that stretches across a vast 14 acres of pristine land. However, it seems the billionaire founder of Amazon is far from finished with his Aloha State investments, as he explores opportunities beyond the horizon.

Sources with insider knowledge previously revealed to The Post that Bezos has been quietly scouting for off-the-market ranches in Maui, further solidifying his presence in Hawaii after acquiring property along the shores of La Perouse Bay.

Property records confirm that Bezos has not merely settled for a piece of paradise, but is reshaping it to his liking. His acquisitions include three structures on a private bay, with additional acreage held under the Lochland Holdings LLC, an entity now under his control.

Even by the elevated standards of Hawaii’s luxurious real estate, this oceanfront estate distinguishes itself with its isolation and remoteness. It comprises three separate structures.

The main structure stands as a testament to elegance, boasting three bedrooms and three bathrooms, offering 4,450 square feet of living space. The second property is a charming two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom guesthouse with 1,839 square feet. Meanwhile, the third structure is a three-bedroom, one-bathroom dwelling, offering 1,815 square feet.

The Amazon honcho paid $23 million in 2016 for the former Textile Museum in Washington’s upscale Kalorama neighborhood — then he got to work on a $12 million renovation, according to a Washingtonian report.

Bezos purchased the estate three years after becoming the sole owner of the Washington Post.

The neighborhood once housed Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump as well as Barack and Michelle Obama.

The brick exterior has stately Roman columns and balconies, a sweeping lawn with a fountain and a private garden with brick-arched walkways.

Covering 27,000 square feet, it was originally built in 1914. It holds 10 bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, six powder rooms and 11 fireplaces.

This 30,000-acre property in the west-most part of Texas is the base for Bezos’ private space company, Blue Origin.

But the property also has a four-bedroom gray stucco home. Bezos purchased the house from attorney Ronald Stasny for an unknown amount in 2004. Originally built in the 1920s, it underwent millions in renovations under Stasny, who said that Bezos intended to keep the house mostly as-is when he purchased it. It has deer-antler chandeliers, oak furniture, historical photos and paintings of the ranch, a barn and a guest house, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.

It is estimated Bezos paid over $50 million for the $30,000 acre ranch.

Bezos, who attended elementary school in Houston, said he wants his family to have the chance to live on a ranch after he got to stay on his grandfather’s 25,000-acre ranch in Cotulla, Texas, as a kid, according to the report.

Ranches in the area go for about $1,400 an acre, Realtor.com shows, and Stasny told the WSJ that Bezos paid a premium.

Shortly after his highly publicized divorce in 2019, Bezos quietly scooped up four properties in Hunts Point, Seattle — just minutes from his primary Medina residence that has undergone about $27 million in renovations in recent years.

Bought for a total of $45 million, the properties include a sprawling mansion, and three smaller homes he purchased for his staffers and security team.

The first home he bought for $37.5 million in Hunts Point spans 9,400 square feet and is set on 3.25 acres. The neighborhood is known as a haven for the nation’s top 1%.

With 300 feet of coastline views, the manse boasts a rooftop deck with a fireplace and a glass bridge that connects to the guest house.

Meanwhile, the three other properties are within the mile of the massive estate.

One of the homes, located in the Yarrow Point neighborhood, boasts five bedrooms and four baths — and is currently on the market for just under $4.4 million, described in the listing as “move-in ready.”

One of Bezos’ first homes he purchased following newfound success at the company was in Medina, Seattle. He paid $10 million in 1998 for a 20,600-square-foot, five-bedroom, four-bathroom house, according to Realtor.com. The 5.3-acre property in the ritzy Seattle suburb is located near the local Post Office and grocery store, property records show.

Then, in 2005, he reportedly spent $50 million on a neighboring 8,300-square-foot mansion with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The properties have a combined 310 feet of shoreline, according to Realtor.com.

Finally, Bezos plunked down $28 million in renovations on the combined estate in 2010, according to Realtor.com, for a total of $88 million spent on the estate — $118 million, adjusting for inflation.

Medina Peninsula is accessible from Seattle via the longest floating bridge in the world, spanning 7,710 feet across Lake Washington. The 1.4-square-mile city has a golf and country club founded in 1927, where residents like to not only golf but swim and play tennis, according to Mansion Global.
