Conor McGregor’s fiancée Dee Devlin—with whom he shares kids Conor Jr., 7, Croía, 5, Rían, 3, and Mack, 11 months—said their family “stands strong” after his loss in a rape civil case in Dublin.
Dee Devlin firmly remains in Conor McGregor‘s corner.
“My man and I have created a beautiful life together,” she wrote on Instagram Nov. 26. “I love him I trust him and I BELIEVE HIM! Our four beautiful children whose smiling faces and happy hearts are testimony to the man he is and who we are!”
Devlin continued “No one is entitled to comment on our relationship—we trust one another and love one another. Nothing or nobody will change that.”
On Nov. 22, a High Court of Dublin jury ruled in favor of a woman who alleged McGregor, 36, had “brutally raped and battered” her during a 2018 encounter at a hotel in the Irish capital.
During the legal proceedings, McGregor testified that he never forced the woman to do anything against her will, claiming that the two had “consensual sex” on the night in question.
Local police previously investigated the woman’s complaint, but the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in Dublin declined to prosecute McGregor, citing insufficient evidence for a criminal case.
The 36-year-old has been ordered to pay his accuser over $250,000 as part of the civil case.
“The judge’s instruction and the modest award given was for assault, there was not an award for aggravated or exemplary damages,” McGregor told TMZ in a statement following the verdict. “I am disappointed that the jury did not hear all the evidence that the DPP reviewed.”
He added, “I am with my family, focused on my future.”
