YouTube star and professional boxer Jake Paul is busy preparing for his upcoming fight against sporting legend Mike Tyson, but he managed to find time to show off the ultramodern redesign of his $20 million mansion in Puerto Rico.
The 27-year-old purchased a posh property in Dorado in 2023 for just under $16 million, which he announced with great fanfare on his YouTube channel at the time.
But buying the home was just the start for Paul, who proceeded to carry out extensive updates on the enormous estate, which he suggests in a new video have added a staggering $4 million to the value of his property.
“My new $20,000,000 house tour!” he captioned the video, which was shared on Sept. 10—just over two months before Paul is due to face off with Tyson in the ring in a highly publicized Nov. 15 fight.
He proceeds to take viewers through his dream home, claiming at one point that he has poured $2 million into the renovations.

Custom compound
According to property records, Paul purchased the brand-new mansion for $15.75 million. Set on over an acre of land, it features over 12,000 square feet of living space, including eight bedrooms, and 10 bathrooms.
Paul worked with a designer to reimagine the space as more open, with more artwork on display. Even the six-car garage, which houses his car collection, received a makeover with new flooring and green walls.
Behold the Taj MaPaul
Built in 2021, the luxe residence features tile flooring and windows throughout. Out back are a luxury pool, patio, and cabanas.
As Paul tours the Taj MaPaul, as he bills his renovated home, he shares images of how the home looked before and after his alterations.
A huge TV wall once divided the main living area; but now, the dining and living spaces open to each other. The TV screen was moved out of sight inside the ceiling and can drop down for viewing.
Before the renovation, the living room featured a huge TV wall.

Primary retreat
Next, the tour heads to a courtyard outside with a swing and a “life is beautiful” sculpture.
Back inside, Paul shows viewers his bedroom suite, which includes an enormous bed that appears to be the size of two king mattresses.
The view from the primary suite looks out to the gardens, which feature new patio furniture and a swinging chair. The garden space has an outdoor shower, but the indoor bath is “a little bit nicer,” he says.
It’s where Paul tacks up his inspirational goals, such as “learning Spanish,” which he admits is “not going well.”
Showing off his Taj MaPaul-branded robe, he says, “I wanted this home to feel like a resort and spa.” Mission accomplished.
The bath gets some minor improvements.

‘My favorite room’
On the second floor, Paul heads to his “favorite” room: his office.
He’s added a “wooden cabinet thing” to house his collectibles and memorabilia.
In a peek behind the proverbial curtain, we see the edit room for the influencer’s video content.
“We have a team of six or seven on the content side,” he says. On a busy day, there can be 12 hours of footage to edit.
Bananas kitchen and breakfast room
Back downstairs in the kitchen, “the only thing we changed was the breakfast table, chairs, chandelier,” he says.
Paul’s attention to detail includes a cabinet displaying “custom fine china,” he says, holding up a plate and an espresso cup with the Taj MaPaul mark.
The kitchen fridge has “all the essentials,” from a watermelon he inexplicably punches, to Celsius drinks, pickles, hot sauce, and coconut water. “I’m a big sauce guy,” Paul says.
The breakfast table, chairs, and chandelier are all new.

Home theater magic
For the home theater, Paul says, “we changed pretty much everything. … We made it feel more cozy.”
They added a TV, a snack bar, and a beverage fridge.
Resortlike grounds
The grounds include a pool, a cold plunge, and a hot tub that can fit 40 people. There’s also a fire pit surrounded by couches.
Paul also installed a redwood sauna. “I used it to cut weight for my last fight,” he says, “and I love going from the sauna to the cold plunge.”
Paul adds that he’s planning to install a “tortoise garden.”

‘Magical paradise’
“This place has turned into the most magical paradise,” Paul says. But there are “more changes to come.”
Those changes will undoubtedly have to wait, at least until after Paul’s Nov. 15 boxing match with Tyson.
The match was originally scheduled for July 20; however, it was postponed due to Tyson, 58, suffering an ulcer flare-up at the time.
