The slow-burn first kiss between Adam Brody and Kristen Bell in Nobody Wants This had fans gushing.
Fans loved the chemistry between Adam Brody and Kristen Bell in their latest romantic comedy web series Nobody Wants This on Netflix. Revolving around the love story between Rabbi Noah(Adam) and a podcast host(Kristen), the show explores modern-day relationships. Here, the slow-burn first kiss between the two characters in the second episode of season 1 had many gushing. Recently, Adam Brody remembered the scene and said that it was written somewhere along the lines of ‘Greatest Of All Time’.
During a conversation with People magazine, Adam said, “I’m paraphrasing, but it said something to the effect of, ‘It’s the greatest of all time. Put your ice cream down; put the bag down in there. I think he touches her face.’”
Sharing his experience of filming the scene, he added, “I mean, I’m just happy that I got to be part of an apparently memorable kiss. it’s a very cinematic thing.”
Later in the interview, Adam humorously mentioned that being a great on-screen kisser and doing these charming roles on Netflix has not raised his status in front of his wife and kids. He still has to contribute to household chores.
“I can’t say it’s improved my status, but they treat me well here, so I have nothing to complain about.” He further credited his wife for teaching him a thing or two about romance. “Ah, well, everything I do, I learn from my wife,” said he. Adam Brody got married to television star Leighton Meester known for her role as Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl in a private ceremony in 2014.
Meanwhile, Nobody Wants tells the story of a Jewish Rabbi who falls in love with a podcast host who is an atheist. With several religious and social obstacles in their way, the two cannot defy their attraction for each other and navigate a way to be together. The first season of the show turned out to be a huge success and a second is on the way. As per reports, filming for the upcoming season is set to begin in late January 2025, with a tentative release date scheduled for later that year.
