Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were once very close to Kate Middleton and Prince William, and the couples even attended an event together just two months before the their wedding
Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were once endearingly known as the ‘Fab Four’, were seen together at a plethora of events prior to Harry and Meghan’s dramatic exit from royal duties in 2020.
Before their relationship took a chilly turn, and just two months preluding Harry and Meghan’s nuptial celebration in 2018, the four attended a function promoting the Royal Foundation an initiative set up by William and Harry.
At this juncture, Meghan made a notable comment about her new family members describing them as quite different yet “very communicative.”
Marking her inaugural official attendance with her soon-to-be relatives, she observed: “Thank goodness it’s such differing personalities and that everyone’s very communicative because that’s how you can really see bigger change.”

In her praise for the unique perspectives of the trio she had joined, Meghan celebrated the diversity of mindsets among them, reports the Express.
Meghan expressed: “If everyone’s thinking the same way, how are you going to push the envelope? You know, how are you really going to break through in a different sort of mindset?”
According to a royal author, her speech caused great upset to the foundation’s executives and created an awkward atmosphere among the four.
Tom Bower alleged in his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors, that Harry’s intervention during Meghan’s speech about empowering women was much more weighted than first thought.
A royal biographer conveyed that her ongoing commentary sowed seeds of discontent within the charity’s leadership and provoked discomfort amidst the attending quartet.
Tom Bower, in his tome titled Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors, insinuated that Harry’s support during Meghan’s address on female empowerment bore greater significance than originally perceived.
During the event, Meghan said to the audience: “With so many campaigns like MeToo and TimesUp, there’s no better time to continue to shine a light on women feeling empowered and people supporting them.”
Her words of wisdom continued: “You’ll often hear people say, ‘well you’re helping people find their voice’ and I fundamentally disagree with that, because women don’t need to find a voice. They have a voice, they need to feel empowered to use it, and people need to be encouraged to listen.”
Harry then jokingly interrupted: “Wedding first.”
The two couples were last seen together in public shortly after the passing of the late Queen, when they paid their respects dressed in mourning attire, viewing tributes left at Windsor Castle in honor of the Queen.
