FOX NFL Sunday host Curt Menefee wasted no time in calling out Howie Long during a live trivia segment of the show this weekend.

Long, 64, wasn’t paying attention at the beginning of the Week 3 edition of the NFL pregame show.

Menefee was alongside his colleagues Long, Michael Strahan, Terry Bradshaw, and Jimmy Johnson.

During the first block of Fox NFL Sunday, host Menefee asked his broadcasting teammates about the NFL’s quarterbacks through the first two games of the season.

The league has gotten good performances from signal-callers who were either inconsistent, recovering from an injury, below-average, or even hardly played last season.

Bradshaw got a question right about New Orleans’ Derek Carr, and Menefee was ready to ask the next question.

But Long questioned Bradshaw, saying “Aren’t you phoning a friend?” while Menefee asked his co-workers which quarterback has thrown for at least 250 yards twice.

The TV on the set displayed the answer, Las Vegas Raiders’ Gardner Minshew, for viewers and his partners to see.

After admitting that the Fox network answered the question, Menefee believed that Long wasn’t listening to his question.

“Were you paying attention, Howie?” he asked Long.

Quickly, Long replied, “No.”

The NFL Hall of Famer’s answer caused Bradshaw, Strahan, and Johnson to burst out laughing.

Menefee wasn’t amused as he answered the question.

“We’re off to a fantastic start!” Strahan said.

Menefee then playfully noted that the show’s rehearsal was “a lot better” than what the live television program was displaying to TV viewers.

Fans were unable to watch Rob Gronkowski on Fox NFL Sunday for the second time this season.

The New England Patriots icon didn’t appear in Week 1 but made his season debut last week.

Gronkowski has taken up a new role after being an analyst for the previous two years.

He will only be a contributor on Fox NFL Sunday.

Gronk will also star on Fox NFL Kickoff, just before the main show airs on TV.

The first program begins at 11am Eastern for an hour.

That is followed by Fox NFL Sunday for the network’s massive coverage of the NFL for the day.
