Jake Paul Defeated Mike Perry On Original Tyson Fight Date
Paul Iced Yet Another MMA Fighter
In Tyson’s absence from the originally scheduled date, Paul faced Mike Perry, a seasoned bare-knuckle boxer and former UFC fighter. Paul emerged victorious with a sixth-round knockout. Known for taking on former MMA stars past their prime, Paul’s resume includes wins over Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz. He secured a knockout against Askren and defeated Woodley in both a decision and a KO. His most recent points victories came against Silva and Diaz.
Despite his impressive 10-1 record, Paul’s sole defeat came at the hands of Tommy Fury, half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, in early 2023. Fury won the fight by decision, ending Paul’s unbeaten streak. However, Paul has shown his capability by defeating professional journeymen boxers Ryan Bourland and Andre August, both by knockout within the past year.
With Tyson now recovered and the fight date imminent, anticipation grows for the showdown between Paul and the former world champion, promising a clash of generations and a spectacle for boxing fans worldwide.
