Jack Quaid states Season 4 of The Boys is his favorite, gives some intriguing details about the upcoming season.
Eric Kripke’s The Boys is one of the most violent and unhinged TV shows ever to be made. From the infamous Termite scene to Homelander being a murderous maniac, there have been several moments throughout the three seasons of the show that will make the audience gasp out loud and possibly cleanse their eyes.

But this unhinged-ness is what makes the show so entertaining to watch, especially when many of its characters have been based on real people. Jack Quaid, who stars as Hughie Campbell, revealed in a recent interview that things are getting even more interesting and bloody in the upcoming season 4 of the show.

It is surprising to think that The Boys could get even more deranged than it already is. But that is what is going to happen in season 4 of the show. Releasing soon on Prime Video, the anticipation for the season is considerably high, especially since the show will introduce two new supes, making things even more interesting for the Seven and Antony Starr‘s Homelander.
In a new interview with Collider, The Boys star Jack Quaid remarked several times how shocked he was reading the script of this season. Calling it his favorite season, the actor remarked,
There are certain moments in this season that, when I initially read them in the script, I gasped out loud, which is very hard to get me to do, after four seasons. But yeah, you know right away when you’re reading it that it’s gonna be pretty crazy… when something is so insane that you are just viscerally reacting to words on a page, you know it’s good, and we have a lot of that this season.
After Eric Kripke had remarked in his interview with Entertainment Weekly that things are going to get dangerous with Homelander, Quaid’s comments make the upcoming season even more intriguing to sound.

The Boys season finale endings are always one wrecking ball of a spectacle. The last season alone ended in several deaths, cliffhangers, and exciting allegiance changes that have made season 4 already more intriguing. However, Jack Quaid has even more tea to share about the upcoming season.
While talking to Collider, the actor remarked that it is truly the ending of the season where the writers outdid themselves.
I never know how the seasons are gonna end… Eventually, we find out because we read the scripts, but he [Kripke] doesn’t really let a ton of details slip about the endgame of each season… There are certain things in this season when I read them that I audibly gasped. I really didn’t see a lot of the beats coming, and that’s very hard to do for a person who’s been on the show for four seasons. The writers just really outdid themselves. The ending is awesome. The ending is f**king nuts. It’s insane.
With so many exhilarating updates, the anticipation keeps building, and fans can hardly wait to see what the show and the showrunners have been cooking so long.
The Boys Season 4 will be premiering on June 13, on Amazon Prime.
