AMC Networks’ Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the fifth spinoff and the sixth overall series of The Walking Dead franchise. The series, which delves into the titular character played by Norman Reedus in the original series, has till date seen the release of one solitary season, consisting of six episodes.
However, the series was quickly renewed for a further two seasons, with Season 2 set to premiere later this month, on 29th September. However, even though no release date for Season 3 has of yet been revealed, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has seen the introduction of three new stars to the cast, all set to play unconfirmed roles.
The news was released via a press release from the creators, with the likes of Eduardo Noriega, Oscar Jaenada, and Alexandra Masangkay set to be the new faces.

Even as fans await the release of Season 2, they will be delighted to see three major Spanish actors being introduced to an already talented cast. The likes of Eduardo Noriega, Oscar Jaenada, and Alexandra Masangkay will join a cast that already boasts of superstars such as Reedus, Clémence Poésy, and Melissa McBride.
Furthermore, the press release also confirmed that the likes of Candela Saitta and Hugo Arbues will also be a part of Season 3, and will play recurring roles. The news was announced during FesTVal, which is an annual television festival held in Vitoria, Spain.
Regardless, season 3’s production is primarily set in Madrid, although a range of other locations across Spain will also be featured. These include the regions of Galicia, Aragón, Catalonia, and Valencia, with some of the towns’ picturesque locations set to prominently feature in Season 3.
The show will only premiere in Spain on October 4, with Season 3 expected to continue the entertaining narrative surrounding the main characters of the franchise, Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has taken fans through their first-ever ride through Europe. The continent has undergone a range of effects due to the outbreak of the Walker apocalypse, with Season 2 expected to further continue the story.
Executively produced by Scott M. Gimple, David Zabel, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival, Steve Squillante, Norman Reedus, and Melissa McBride, two new names have also been added to this team. The likes of Silvia Aráez and Jesús de la Vega from Ánima Stillking will also be listed as executive producers for Season 3.
Regardless, all three of the new faces have impressive portfolios. Eduardo Noriega has previously been seen in projects such as Thesis, and Open Your Eyes. Oscar Jaenada is most known for his work on Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, while Masangkay has previously been seen in movies such as The Platform, and Valley of Shadows.
The press release did not specify a release date for Season 3, which is expected to premiere sometime in 2025. For the time being, fans will be awaiting the premiere of Season 2, with Season 1 already having broken multiple viewership records. Season 1 of the series became the most-watched premiere and season on AMC+, coming second only to The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.
