Celebrity parents are no strangers to mum-shaming and unsolicited advice.

But Paris Hilton appreciates the advice her followers have been giving her since becoming a mum, especially over concerns about their car seats.

The reality star sparked concerns after sharing footage of Phoenix, one, and London, five months, in her new van on Monday, in their car seats which were forward facing.

She has since posted another video on TikTok to thank her followers for the feedback and revealed she’s changed their seats to rear-facing.

“Thanks for the mum advice, I’m new to this. The #CutesieCrew is now ready for take off in the #SlivingMom van,” she captioned the video.

Like any other new mum, Hilton is learning all of this day by day and admitted “no one is perfect” in the comments.

“I’m glad you didn’t take offense!!!” commented one follower.

Hilton replied, “No, I’m not taking offense. I am a new mom and just learning as I go. So I appreciate advice when it is kind as I’m just trying to be the best mom I can be.”

Fans of the Simple Life star were happy to see that even a celebrity took the time to listen to concern and admitted that it was ok to make mistakes.

But she didn’t reply to other commenters who still had issues with a few more adjustments that needed to be made with the kids’ seats.

Hilton and her husband Carter Reum welcomed Phoenix via surrogate in January 2023, even keeping the pregnancy secret from her family.

In November 2023 she one again shocked everyone and announced that she and Reum had welcomed their second child, London.

Since becoming a mother one thing has become clear, she is fiercely protective of her babies, which is why it took her so long to share a photo of London’s face on social media.

The reality star recently posted the first photos of her daughter that showed her face, introducing her officially to the world.

“I’ve dreamed of having a daughter named London for as long as I can remember,” she wrote in the caption.

The decision to keep London’s face off social media was no doubt impacted by the hateful and hurtful comments she received about her son’s appearance.

“I couldn’t believe that they could be mean and vicious about a little innocent baby,” Hilton previously told People magazine.

“You can say what you want about me, but this is my little angel.

“And if anyone ever says anything to hurt him or his feelings, I will always be there to protect him.”
