The documentary was first announced in 2022. Nneka Onuorah will direct the multi-part series while Time Studios and her management company Roc Nation will serve as producers.
“We are thrilled to be able to work with Roc Nation to share Megan’s story with the world,” Time Studios’ co-head of documentary Loren Hammonds said at the time. “Millions of people are familiar with her as an entertainer, but this series will give her a chance to share her truth as never before. Her story is a powerful one, and the accomplishments that she continues to achieve are remarkable. We feel lucky to have this opportunity to capture her at a crucial moment in her life and career, as she continues to grow exponentially in both her artistry and global impact.”
Meg herself hasn’t commented on the film’s release just yet. She’s currently focused on the next act of her career. In a recent Instagram post, Meg flashed off her new diamond grill by Johnny Dang and previewed a brand-new song.
“Almost done working hotties brb [butterfly emoji] (the song is not out yet),” she wrote in her caption.
