JESSE LINGARD has reportedly slid into the DMs of “Korea’s Kim Kardashian”.

The former Manchester United forward, 31, jetted off to Asia last month as he penned a deal with South Korean side FC Seoul.

And his home debut on Sunday saw the club set a new K-League attendance record as 51,670 fans piled into the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

But now he is making headlines for off-field antics after influencer Applee shared a screenshot alleging Lingard had slid into her DMs.

The image shows a chat with what appears to be Lingard’s official Instagram account.

In the conversation, Lingard simply said: “Hi”.

Applee posted the screenshot on her Instagram for her 1.9 million followers to see.

And she added: “Wow, I am a huge fan of Jesse Lingard, and he liked my photo and sent me a DM. I’m so honoured!”

People have labelled the influencer South Korea’s answer to Kardashian – namely because of her curvy physique.

Applee regularly shares photos and videos of her glamorous lifestyle.

And she is often seen in daring outfits as she shows off her impressive figure.

Meanwhile, Lingard, who came off the bench on Sunday, will be hoping to break into FC Seoul’s starting XI sooner rather than later.

The six-time K-League champions are at home again on Saturday when they host islanders Jeju United.

Lingard signed a deal with FC Seoul that runs until the end of 2025.

He was previously a free agent since leaving Nottingham Forest at the end of last season.

The contract contains an option for a further year.

Speaking after his side’s goalless draw at the weekend, he said: “Probably should have won in the end. I had a couple of half-chances.

“Not enough clear chances, but I think we can build on this. I think it’s all about mindset and confidence coming into these games.

“In front of a big crowd, first home game – amazing support throughout.

“We maybe should have finished off our chances.”
