Snoop Dogg chose Beloate and Christina Eagle to move on to the live shows next week
Jeremy Beloate is a star in the making.
On Monday, Nov. 25, Beloate — who’s on Team Snoop — took the stage for his playoffs performance of “The Impossible Dream (The Quest)” on The Voice.
After his powerful rendition, coach Reba McEntire couldn’t help but grow emotional.
“I haven’t been that touched listening to anybody sing until you. You have got a voice that really penetrated my heart. It really got me. I can see you on Broadway. I want to come see you when you’re there,” McEntire, 69, said with tears in her eyes.
She added, “You’re so good.”
Snoop, 53, began his feedback by agreeing he was “so proud” of Beloate.
“I’m over here shedding tears of joy, man. You made me feel like I was sitting at a real Broadway play. I’m crying and I don’t care because my seat next to me, she’s crying. So I guess it’s OK to cry,” he said.
The rapper continued, “Something about the way you make me feel. Jeremy you’re a blessing in disguise. I’m so thankful to have you on my team and I’m thankful to be able to hear you sing. Thank you brother.”
During a one-on-one interview, Snoop said he has “everything in his tool box” and vocally he’s “strong enough to win The Voice.”
He later added, “There’s not many men who can make me cry when they sing.”
When it came time for Snoop to choose the two contestants who would move on to the live shows, Beloate was his first pick.

Next, Snoop went with Christina Eagle.
“Christina is great for live shows because she is a fiery female that can sing good old-fashioned country music. Christina Eagle had one chair turn. She had one wing when I met her and she got a second wing. And now as you can see, the eagle has landed,” he said.
On Monday’s episode, McEntire also chose her two contestants: Danny Joseph and Adam Bohanan.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC at 8 p.m. ET, and is available to stream on Peacock the next day.
