Fans may have several rumors surrounding Cardi B and her estranged husband Offset’s split, but there’s one wild tale that has had social media timelines buzzing for the past few days.
The “Enough” rapper was recently accused of cheating on her ex with NFL player Stefon Diggs while she was pregnant with her third child. The rumor spread after media personality Akademiks shared details about the alleged affair on his Rumble livestream earlier this week. During her X Spaces conversation on Wednesday, October 9, Bardi brushed off the rumors and said they were “so f**king crazy.
“The internet is insane,” she said. “All these rumors are so f**king crazy. That’s why I don’t wanna address it because I feel like s**t is funny. I’mma just let it ride out because I think it’s cute, it’s funny. I’ma let people think what they wanna think.”
According to Akademiks, Offset allegedly went through Cardi’s phone and discovered a text conversation between his ex and the Houston Texans wide receiver. Their relationship was not physical, however, Ak claimed they got frisky during their conversations. He even said Cardi sent the NFL player a photo of herself.
“That n***a Offset sees the flirting,” Ak said. “In a toxic n***a mind, you f**ked. So that’s why the n***a is saying, ‘You done f**ked Stefon Diggs.’”
Offset has accused Cardi B of cheating several times throughout the course of their relationship. He claimed she cheated on him while she was pregnant during the Bronx native’s Instagram Live last month, in which she aired out her ex. She didn’t deny the allegations and even made a post to X that seemingly confirmed Offset’s claims.
“I find it funny that n***as think that they can f**k on anything, but when I start talking to n***as, you want to threaten me with taking s**t that I f**king worked my ass off for,” she said.
Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in August and confirmed her pregnancy a day later. The former couple welcomed their baby girl last month. As of this report, the divorce proceedings are still ongoing.
