The revelation comes after it was reported that the actress purchased her own mansion after she rented a home in Malibu.

Citing an insider, Us Weekly reported that  being closer to former husband Brian Austin Green makes it easier for them to co-parent.

The source said that Megan purchased the home because she has always liked her own space.

The source said that the split had nothing to do with her new house.

The insider said The Transformer actress wanted a new chapter and purchased the home on her own.

Megan reportedly ended her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly after the singer was cheating on her.

The split came after she announced that she was pregnant with a child.
