UK News. Harry distrust Meghan? After her altercation with William, she called someone else and the revelation has Brits in shock
In a surprising twist, Prince Harry is reportedly feeling bored and nostalgic for his homeland, as his friends across the pond find his wife Meghan Markle difficult to deal with.
Royal expert Tom Quinn recently revealed to The Mirror that Harry is “increasingly bored” and misses his old life in the UK. “Harry is looking back across the Atlantic where most of his army and school friends still live,” Quinn said. “He never sees them because they won’t visit him in the States due to their aversion to Meghan.”
Currently residing in Montecito, California, with Meghan, 42, and their children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, Harry’s social life has seemingly taken a hit.
His longtime friend Hugh Grosvenor, who is Archie’s godfather, recently got married in England. However, Harry and Meghan were noticeably absent from the celebrations, reportedly to avoid “disturbing everybody” at the event.
Adding to the drama, Harry’s estranged brother Prince William served as an usher at Grosvenor’s wedding, highlighting the growing rift between Harry and his old friends.
Harry has reinvented himself
The last time Harry was in England was in May for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, but he didn’t reconnect with his friends. “They are a part of the old pre-Meghan world that Harry hates to revisit,” Quinn claimed.
Quinn also mentioned that Harry’s friends feel “betrayed” by the way he detailed his military service in his bombshell memoir “Spare.” They reportedly don’t like Meghan and blame her for turning Harry into “Harry the Hippy.”
“The truth is that Harry has reinvented himself in a way that just doesn’t work for his family or for friends from the past when he was a very different character,” Quinn added.
Earlier this year, Harry renounced his British residency and officially declared the United States as his home, moving out of Frogmore Cottage, their last UK residence.
Will the Prince return to the UK soon?
Despite this, rumors are swirling that Harry is looking a to buy a new property in the UK. King Charles’ former butler, Grant Harrold, told The Post that Harry has been eyeing properties in his homeland. “It’s something that he’s wanted and been thinking about. Now he’s probably made the decision that’s what he wants,” Harrold said.
Meanwhile, Meghan reportedly feels “rejected” by the UK and is focused on building her career in Hollywood. With Harry’s yearning for his old friends and Meghan’s ambitions in the US, it seems the couple is navigating a challenging crossroad between their past and future lives.
