Congrats to the happy couple!
Bachelor Nation fans first met Madison Johnson on Season 27 of “The Bachelor” and she made an impact when she and Zach did the Griddy.
But sparks weren’t flying between Madison and Zach, and he sent her home on Night 1.
Last year, Madi took to Instagram to reveal that she found love off-screen with boyfriend Derek Butler.
She shared a photo of him holding a rose and said, “Went to the beach and got myself a rose. My heart is so full.”
Now, the Bachelor Nation star just took to Instagram again to reveal that she and Derek are officially engaged!
Alongside photos of the two of them kissing in front of a giant light-up sign that read “marry me,” Madi wrote, “The greatest day of my life. On Monday, Derek’s agent emailed us to say we had the role in a music video, including the outfits we needed to bring, our makeup times, and two locations. The first location was for makeup, and our first few scenes, and the second ended up being where I got to say ‘yes’ to my forever with so many of our people there by our side. To say it was magical is an understatement.”
She went on, “Every moment, every detail was perfect. Sorry in advance — I’ll be sharing just how special every little thing was for a very long time. Stay tuned for the music video (aka the recording of the best day of my life). I can’t wait to spend forever with my best friend!”
How exciting!
Many of Madi’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments of her post with love and excitement for the happy couple.
Olivia Lewis wrote, “BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY! I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU BEAUTIFUL GIRL!”
Greer Blitzer said, “Omg congratulations!!!”
And Cara Ammon added, “Congratulations!!! So so excited for you guys 🤍”
We love all the love for these two, and we’re wishing Madi and her man all the best as they enter this exciting next chapter!
