Neve Campbell was once a series regular on Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, but saw her role diminished in season three of the Netflix hit.
Now, we’re breaking down why that is, and if she could be back for season four.
Season three is based on the book “The Gods of Guilt” in The Lincoln Lawyer universe.
The reason why Neve is featured less is because that book actually sees more limited appearances by Neve‘s character, Maggie. In season three, Neve‘s Maggie only appears in two episodes: episode 1 and episode 6. Episode 1 only shows her in a flashback, while episode 6 has her re-enter Mickey’s world at Eddie’s funeral.
Originally, at the end of season 2, Maggie told Mickey she was leaving for San Diego, so many believed Neve was actually exiting the series. So it was a surprise when she was even included in the cast list.
As for season 4, which hasn’t been renewed yet, Neve’s character is featured in the book “The Law Of Innocence.” It’s said that “The Law Of Innocence” would be the focus of season four.
