Elon Musk’s Shockingly Simple Living Room’s Pic Goes Viral; The Internet Hails His Modest Accommodation

While most billionaires flaunt their multi-million dollar mansions across the globe, Tesla and X/Twitter boss Elon Musk seems to prefer modest accommodations. He had once famously claimed to ‘Own no house.’ Walter Isaacson, who is publishing a biography of the billionaire, recently shared a glimpse of Elon Musk’s two bedroom Boca Chica home in Texas. Musk moved into this spartan home after deciding to sell five of his lavish residences in 2020. Musk had tweeted how his (then) girlfriend, Grimes, was mad at him for selling his physical possessions except Gene Wilder’s old house. He also remarked that possessions weigh you down; hence, ‘Don’t need cash.’ Probably why he has been obsessed with crypto during the following couple years.

The picture shared by the Musk biographer shows a portion of the living room, along with the kitchen. Elon’s jacket hangs on one of the four chairs by one of the wooden tables. On the other table lie a katana, a rocket sculpture, and a TV remote. A picture is hung behind the refrigerator. A sci-fi poster adorns the adjacent wall. The house cost Musk about $50,000-$69,000 and is rented from his own company, SpaceX.

Reactions poured in.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk is gearing up for a cage fight with Mark Zuckerberg. While the Meta boss is all pumped up for the upcoming bout, Musk might have to undergo surgery. The billionaires have been feuding for months now. Read the latest Zuck Vs Musk buzz here.
