I now pronounce you husband and whiff.

Meghan Markle’s former “Suits” co-star Rick Hoffman claims there was a “foul” smell during the Duchess of Sussex’s 2018 wedding to Prince Harry.

A photo of the actor, 53, with a disgusted expression on his face famously went viral as he was seated in St. George’s Chapel ahead of the couple’s nuptials.

“If you type in my name in on Google, you see [me] making that awful face,” he explained on the Feb. 14 episode of Barstool Sports’ “Chicks in the Office” podcast of the brief moment that turned into a meme.

Hoffman recalled trying to keep his cool because he was excited about the momentous royal event, but there were “cameras everywhere” capturing him.

“And then as time goes on, I’m starting to smell something really terrible and foul,” he recalled.

The “Bernie Mac Show” alum shared that he is “very sensitive” to smells, so he covered his nose with his hand, which was slathered with coconut- and vanilla-scented moisturizer at the time.

“I try to cut it,” he said of the stench, before asking, “How can I help getting away from this goofy face?”

In the legal drama, Hoffman portrayed lawyer Louis Litt, a partner at the fictional New York City-based law firm Pearson Hardman LLP, while Markle played the lovable paralegal Rachel Zane.

The USA Network series ran for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019, though Markle left in 2018 prior to marrying Harry.

The former actress stayed in touch with her ex-castmates, though, with Sarah Rafferty, Patrick J. Adams, Gina Torres and Gabriel Macht attending her royal wedding.

“Suits” has had a major resurgence since becoming available for streaming on Netflix in mid-2023.

Since regaining popularity, the cast has been keeping in touch, though Torres, 54, said the duchess is not part of their group text.

“When it all came through, we were all texting each other. Yes, our text thread is insane right now. So it’s very exciting,” she told Variety in January, adding that the cast does not have Markle’s phone number.

Markle herself has expressed her excitement over the show’s renewed success four years after it wrapped.

“Isn’t that wild?” she told Variety on the red carpet of the publication’s Power of Women event in Los Angeles in November 2023.

“It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time. I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit.”

She added, “But it’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting.”

While Markle doesn’t seem to be eyeing a return for the “Suits” spinoff, she’s clearly on her way to a Hollywood comeback.

Markle and Harry, 39, quit their royal duties in 2020 and now live in Montecito, Calif., with their two kids: Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

The couple have slowly been building their entertainment empire, from founding their Archewell production company to Markle’s upcoming podcast and, most recently, their newly launched Sussex.com website.
