While Kendall Jenner’s most infamous kitchen moment is a haphazardly cut cucumber, Kylie insists that her sister helps her with Thanksgiving dinner

Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are clearing up any misconceptions about their cooking abilities.
In the sixth episode of The Kardashians, which dropped at midnight on June 27, the younger Jenner sisters joined forces in the kitchen. Kendall, 28, and Kylie, 26, dove into their natural banter while shooting a cooking video for Kendall’s 818 Tequila YouTube channel.
“Today we’re going to make the cutest pasta of all time,” Kendall said of the “pasta alla tequila,” a twist on penne alla vodka.
She gestured toward Kylie and explained: “She is a way better cook than me so I figured I’d invite her.”
“Kendall of course called me because I’m a master chef,” Kylie joked in a confessional. “I love cooking. I cook for my kids. It brings me so much joy so I’m here to help my sister.”
“This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for,” Kylie said excitedly before making the pasta. “Everyone’s been asking for you to have a cooking show.”
“No that’s not true,” Kendall answered. “I appreciate the lies.”
Kendall’s lack of confidence in the kitchen might stem from a viral kitchen faux pas from an earlier season of the Hulu series. “We’ve all seen the cucumber,” Kylie joked in a confessional, referring to a clip from The Kardashians that showed Kendall attempting to cut a cucumber.
During the season 1 episode that aired in May 2022, Kendall started making herself a snack after denying her mom Kris Jenner’s offer to have their chef make one for her.
She proceeded to cut a cucumber in a way that left the internet utterly perplexed. At one point she had her arms crossed over one another while she held the knife in one hand and the end of the cucumber with the other.
The silly mistake brought on a flurry of social media posts from viewers and the Kardashian-Jenner clan, including Kendall, have gotten in on the jokes, too.
But Kylie continued to praise Kendall’s kitchen skills. “Kendall’s the best sous chef and helps me for the past two years on Thanksgiving,” she said.
The sweet comments brought a smile to Kendall’s face and she replied, “I’m gonna cry, that is so nice.”
The sisterly love didn’t stay throughout the new episode as Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian had a spat before they jetted off to Aspen, Colo. for a family trip.
After accusing Khloé of being “condensing” with her tone and delivery — particularly when it comes to her critique of Kim’s parenting — Khloé, 40, hit back and called out her sister for what she thought was displaced anger.
“It sounds like you’re dealing with a bunch of your own bulls— and you decided to harvest this and build up all this animosity towards me, when this is a you f—ing problem,” Khloé told Kim, 42. “I swear you just wanna project whatever you’re going through and take it out on me, and I can handle it but only for so long. I’m not gonna be here all day, so if you need to slap me or something, do it.”
New episodes of The Kardashians drop Thursdays at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
