The Boys Season 4 has been receiving criticism for its focus on the shock value over a compelling plot. However, one of the few storylines that impressed audiences this season would be A-Train’s redemption arc. Jessie T. Usher’s A-Train has undergone significant character development in the last few episodes, leading fans to speculate whether he will face his end soon.

A fight between Homelander and A-Train is inevitable in the series, and fans share their suggestions on how the fight should proceed. Fans don’t want a one-sided battle like the one between Omni-Man and Red Rush in Invincible. They would rather have a badass fight like the one between Ikaris and Makkari in Marvel’s Eternals.

In The Boys Season 4, A-Train has sort of a redemption arc where the supe is expressing guilt over his past mistakes. Jessie T. Usher‘s character has started helping The Boys against Vought and Homelander. He provided crucial evidence to Hughie and Starlight and even saved Hughie from Homelander’s attack. But his new association with Billy Butcher’s team puts him in grave danger.

The progression of his character arc clearly indicates that A-Train is going to have an inevitable face-off against Antony Starr‘s Homelander. Fans speculate that the mad supe will kill the speedster in the final episode of the current season, catching a hint from the episode named Assassination Run. However, they have a few suggestions on how the fight should proceed between the two supes.

@stfu_edits_001 shared a clip from Invincible on Instagram and shared that they didn’t want A-Train to end up like Red Rush in the clip. In Invincible, Red Rush stood no chance against Omni-Man despite his super speed. He succumbed to a violent death after Omni-Man crushed his head. There have been debates online that Omni-Man and Homelander share similar powers, which means that A-Train could also face instant violent death.

However, fans want A-Train to go down fighting and want The Boys to copy one Eternals‘ fight scene. @enokkan shared a clip from the film with the caption, “We need A-Train and Homelander to fight like this before the season ends.” In the clip, Makkari and Ikaris have a go at each other during the final battle.

It was one of the best fight sequences in the film, and Makkaris takes out her anger on Ikaris before going down. Fans badly want A-Train to throw some punches before he goes down.

Fans on Instagram agreed with both clips about what they want and don’t want from the A-Train vs Homelander fight. Under the Invincible clip, one fan shared that The Boys would likely make it more gorier than Invincible, provided their reputation for violent deaths. Another fan suggested that A-Train and Homelander were closer in power than Red Rush and Omni Man. The fan suggested that it was likely that A-Train would fight like in Eternals before going down.

Fans under the Eternals clip suggested that A-Train would most likely juice up on Compound V before fighting Homelander. Another fan suggested that the character wants to leave behind a legacy for his family and would stand up to Homelander for that reason. Some of the fan reactions read:

A Train would be one of the people who will stand up against Homelander in the end. He will fight to death. A Train is having a major moral Crisis of what he wants to be and legacy he wants to leave behind for his nephews and his communities.
