Fans vent over audio sync problems in Outer Banks season 4

The first 5 episodes of season 4 of Outer Banks were released on October 10, 2024. Since then, anticipation for the remaining five episodes has intensified. However, many fans online are naturally upset given the Netflix audio out-of-sync problems

A recent post on Reddit claimed that episodes 8 to 10 of the latest batch had “major audio issues.” The post claimed that there was no sound beyond the intro. It also stated that the other titles on the streaming platform were functioning properly.

Several hundred comments under the post backed up the claim, with one fan complaining:

“Same no audio for the first 5 minutes then it’s not lined up with the picture”

“Thank god, I too thought I was going mad. Wonder what they’ve done to have the audio disrupted,” another fan complained.

As per the platform’s official guideline, the problem of Netflix sound not working is caused either by a fault in the device or the title being watched. Given that so many people from across the globe have faced the same issue, fans speculated that the problem might have to do with the title itself.

One user mentioned :

“Try watching on your phone. It’s finally working.”

Another commented that it is only the English audio that has been affected.
