Homelander and Black Adam have an uncanny resemblance in the most unexpected way.

Homelander and Black Adam

Antony Starr’s Homelander has done some heinous and diabolical acts throughout the four seasons of The Boys. In the latest season, the character is at its lowest point which has led to him becoming more dangerous and unpredictable. Starr continues to impress as well as haunt audiences with his terrifying performance as the supervillain.

The season saw a further exploration of Homelander’s past as he revisits his past and wreaks havoc on those who wronged him. The latest episode also saw him killing a character grotesquely. Fans have now found similarities between that scene with another one in the final battle in Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.

The Boys continue to explore the ugly sides of Homelander in season 4. With the motto of the latest season being self-reflection and guilt, the character got to revisit his origins. In addition to the heinous things he did to the people who wronged him, the latest episode continues to show how diabolical Homelander can be.

Episode 7 saw Homelander brutally killing Webweaver by ripping his body apart in half. The scene bears an uncanny similarity with how Dwayne Johnson‘s Adam kills Sabbac in 2022’s Black Adam. It is wild how the two scenes are basically the same as two powerful characters kill another character that they believe has got to go.

On Instagram, one fan super_same wrote how both Black Adam and Homelander had the “same rage” and intensity as they brutally tore apart their enemies. Some even referred to the finishing moves of Homelander in Mortal Kombat 1 with mr.ohh_yeah writing “FATALITY, HOMELANDER WINS”. Nevertheless, the comparison with Black Adam is certainly intriguing.

I’m very conscious that I want us to go out on a really positive, strong note. I don’t want us to be the show that pushed one season too far and fell flat. On behalf of everyone that works on the show, I think we deserve to go out with our heads up, not feeling like we should have gone earlier or we overstayed our welcome, so to speak. I think it’ll be about the right time, but also it’ll be a hard thing to leave.
